Kroz stolje\u0107a, vinogradarstvo je bilo jedno od temelja pa\u0161kog gospodarstva. Uglavnom se na Pagu godi\u0161nje ubiralo oko 3 300 tona gro\u017e\u0111a. Najve\u0107i dio se koristio za proizvodnju vina, a tek se manji dio prodavao na tr\u017ei\u0161tu kao vo\u0107e. Najve\u0107e vinogradarske povr\u0161ine nalazile su se na podru\u010dju Kolanjskog polja, Novaljskog polja, na predjelu Julovice, Svilnog, Blata, Murvice i Vodica. Naglom urbanizacijom Paga, velik je dio vinograda nestao, tako da je njihova povr\u0161ina od 1967. do 2001. godine smanjena za dvije tre\u0107ine. 2002. godine na Pagu po\u010delo se obnavljati vinogradarstvo, tako da se ponovno posti\u017ee prosjek proizvodnje iz najboljih godina. Pa\u0161ko vino spada u lak\u0161a vina koja se uglavnom piju uz riblja jela. Proizvode se i vina koja idu uz ne\u0161to te\u017ea jela, kao \u0161to je primjerice janjetina. Na otoku se doma\u0107e vino mo\u017ee kupiti kod samostalnih proizvo\u0111a\u010da koji obi\u010dno na svojim ku\u0107ama imaju istaknut natpis kojim obavje\u0161tavaju o prodaji vina. Nekada se vino gotovo isklju\u010divo prodavalo u konobama. U Pagu postoji jedna to\u010dionica, a u trgovinama se mogu prona\u0107i i vina tvrtke \u00abVinogradi otoka Paga\u00bb. Ukoliko \u017eelite kupiti vino kod samostalnih proizvo\u0111a\u010da, u doma\u0107instvima, raspitatajte se kod doma\u0107ih ljudi, koji su dobro obavije\u0161teni tko ima dobro, a tko lo\u0161ije vino. Pa\u0161ka vina uglavnom ne sadr\u017eavaju veliku koli\u010dinu alkohola. Nekada se vino isklju\u010divo prodavalo, a ono \u0161to se ne bi prodalo, pretvaralo se u ocat (kvasinu). Ocat se pio vi\u0161e od vina, uglavnom su ga pili te\u017eaci jer je imalo svojstvo obnavljanja snage. Pa\u017eani su doma\u0107e vino \u010desto koristili i kao hranu.
